In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Unbeatable central location — Just steps from Toledo Cathedral and a short walk to the Alcázar and Plaza Zocodover, this hotel puts the main sights within easy reach.
  • Quiet rooms with double glazing — Despite the central location, rooms are well-insulated from street noise, making for a restful stay.
  • Rooftop pool and terraces — A rooftop pool with city views is a rare bonus in a 3-star city hotel, and some rooms have private terraces with cathedral outlooks.
  • Clean, modern rooms — Guests consistently describe rooms as clean and contemporary, with effective air conditioning and comfortable linens.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Breakfast replenishment can lag — Some guests noted that popular items like omelettes and croissants run out and aren't replaced, so arrive early to get the full spread.
  • Parking is a challenge — Public parking is available nearby, but guests report it is difficult to find and may require extra patience, especially in the narrow old town streets.
  • Dining rating is modest — The food, particularly breakfast, earns mixed feedback, with some disliking the packaged tomato portions and the standard spread.
  • No pets allowed — If you're travelling with a dog or cat, this hotel isn't an option.

“Our room was fresh and modern, and the large terrace came with a partial view of the city.”

8Verified guest

“The room was a good size and very quiet, with an iron, desk, and TV all provided. The view of the cathedral from the window was lovely, and the location couldn't be better—right next to the cathedral, the Alcázar, and the impressive center of Toledo.”

8Verified guest

“Eurico has a charming feel, with comfortable rooms and excellent linens. The location is great, just a short walk from the cathedral and other historic sites.”

8Verified guest

“The breakfast buffet was good quality—the first day there were croissants that tasted freshly baked, though they didn't reappear on the second day. Otherwise, it was a standard buffet. The coffee machine was a highlight, grinding beans on the spot and producing very hot coffee. The rooms have double glazing, so street noise wasn't an issue (Toledo's streets can funnel sound). The inner patio was pleasant, and the rooms had individual air conditioning. The city itself is beautiful and deserves a slow visit, not just a day trip from Madrid—there's art, history, gastronomy, and nature to explore.”

8Verified guest

“Breakfast was decent, but when the omelette and doughnuts ran out, they weren't replaced, so I missed out. It would be nice to have natural crushed tomatoes instead of the mini-packets, which tasted bad. The bathroom, though, was very good.”

8Verified guest

“My stay was pleasant—everything was excellent, with well-furnished rooms. I got a room with a truly special view of the cathedral, and the staff were friendly, efficient, and gave great recommendations.”
